History Buffer
Short-form history videos from research topics — for TikTok and beyond.
History Buffer is a production tool that helps create documentary-style short videos about historical topics. You pick a subject, build a script and scenes, render video, then publish to social platforms.
Follow the public channel on TikTok: @histbuffer.
TikTok
This website powers the History Buffer TikTok app integration. Creators sign in with TikTok Login Kit so the studio can publish finished videos to their TikTok account (draft/inbox or direct publish, depending on app permissions). OAuth is used only for that connect-and-publish flow; we do not scrape your TikTok feed or message other users.
Privacy
- Account tokens from TikTok (and other connected platforms) are stored so you can publish without signing in every time. You can disconnect in the studio Admin page.
- Topic briefs, scripts, and rendered media stay on the operator’s servers for the production workflow.
- We do not sell personal data. Contact us if you want tokens or stored publish credentials removed.
